Missions & Outreach
The purpose of Missions and Outreach ministries at Aurora Cornerstone Church is to spread the Good News of Jesus in our community, throughout our nation and around the world. In partnership with our fellowship (Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada), and through the power of the Holy Spirit, our purpose is to see people come to faith and believe in Jesus alone for their salvation.
As believers, God calls us to belong to Him and play a vital role in our community. We do this through engaging in Community Awareness events, Alms & Benevolence in our local community, Home Missions and various outreach ministries.
Our aim is to see people become who God wants them to be. We do this through educational support and training at home and on the mission field. At home, we provide opportunity for discipleship through our small groups, special course teachings, literature and various forms of communication. We desire to see believers equipped to reach out to various people in the world around them with the Gospel, desiring to bring honour and glory to God. We engage in Global Missions through provision of funds, prayer support and short-term mission teams to missionaries, teachers, pastors and others to help disciple people all around the world.
Our goal is to befriend people and teach others to befriend in the way Jesus befriended us: seeking to live sacrificially and love unconditionally in the power of the Holy Spirit.
